AUX’s Design Director Brian Wickersham will join homeowners, architects, planners, and preservationists for a moderated roundtable discussion during the third installment of the LA Forum’s ALT:adena | Alternative Pathways to Resilient Recovery on June 16th. Brian will discuss AUX’s Park Planned Homes, a reconstruction of Gregory Ain’s iconic midcentury housing design, and provide expert insights about the unique challenges of recovery efforts in Altadena and lessons learned from previously completed fire reconstruction projects.
ALT:adena is a three-part roundtable series scheduled for June 2026 that will shine a light on those rethinking their pathway home after the Eaton Fire — and the creativity and expertise making it possible. Stepping up in scale each week, we move from the home, to the land, to the town. The series will take place at the Good Neighbor Bar in Altadena, and will step up in scale each week from the home, to the land, to the town, with a range of panelists at each gathering. Each gathering will bring together fire survivors, builders, organizers, and technical experts united by a shared curiosity, whether by choice or by lived necessity.
