The Glorya Kaufman Community Center at the Wende Museum was honored with a 2025 Design Award from the Westside Urban Forum, and fittingly, served as the host venue for this year’s celebration!
On November 12, designers, civic leaders, and community members gathered in the A-Frame Theater within the newly opened Glorya Kaufman Community Center at the Wende Museum to recognize projects shaping a more inclusive, sustainable, and livable Los Angeles. Hosting the event within the award-winning building offered guests a firsthand experience of the project’s architectural vision and civic impact.
The Westside Urban Forum’s annual program highlights excellence in city-making across the Greater Los Angeles region, with categories ranging from Affordable Housing and Adaptive Reuse to Public/Institutional, Public/Open Space, and Schools. Winning projects are selected by an independent jury representing diverse design, development, and community perspectives. See all the winners on the WUF’s website.
