The Art Room café/bar, which will be part of a new creative hub at 908-912 S. Olive St. in downtown Los Angeles that’s also home to Seasons LA art gallery and AUX Architecture, received an AIA LA Restaurant Design Award on Aug. 19, 2021. Here’s what the jury had to say: “The risk-taking and innovative design of the kinetic façade is impressive. We also appreciated that the dining spaces were designed with flexibility in mind, and we liked the mixed uses of this development.” The Art Room café/bar will be headed by Chef D. Brandon Walker and is scheduled to open in 2022.
