Nine months after breaking ground in Culver City, the expansion of the Wende Museum is starting to take shape just west of Veterans Memorial Park. The project, located at 10858 Culver Boulevard, is adding a new community center to the Wende Museum campus, which is both an art museum and an archive of Cold War artifacts. The Glorya Kaufman Creative Community Center, named after one of the project’s principal supporters, will be a 7,000-square-foot space featuring a live performance theater, a demonstration garden, and art spaces for veterans.
