Gonzalez Park & Jackie Robinson Stadium

The City of Compton required a conceptual design study for the renovation of an existing baseball stadium, located in Gonzalez Park, in order to conduct public outreach and have available for funding opportunities. The new stadium was planned to commemorate the legendary professional baseball player Jackie Robinson. In addition to the field, a new open-air art gallery, tee ball field, softball field, playground, soccer fields, community gardens, and picnic areas were planned.
