John Bohn

John joined AUX in 2023 as an Associate and Project Architect and is a licensed architect in the states of California and Washington. He worked for three years in the atelier of Arata Isozaki & Associates in Tokyo before apprenticing as a carpenter for a custom home builder in Seattle, Washington. He has taught at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), Syracuse University, Virginia Polytechnic and the California College of the Arts (CCA). He has taught design studios, energy and sustainability courses, and coordinated the Japan Studio at the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc) in Los Angeles. He currently teaches at Cal Poly Pomona in addition to directing JBohn Associates.
