Zione Grosshuesch
Designer I
Zione Grosshuesch is a designer at AUX Architecture. She holds a Master’s degree in Architecture with High Distinction from the University of Michigan’s Taubman College, where she received the Program Distinctions Award, recognizing her academic excellence and design leadership.
Her citation project for “Small Lots, Big Impacts: Inside Out, Upside Down” exemplifies her design philosophy: rethinking how we live by challenging assumptions about residential density and spatial organization through inventive, systems-based thinking. Zione’s experience spans architectural design, interiors, and toy design, reflecting her belief that great design exists at every scale.
She approaches each project with the conviction that thoughtful, adaptable environments can respond meaningfully to both ecological and social conditions. Travel is a core aspect of her creative practice; she actively seeks out design influences across cultures and geographies, allowing the world itself to be a continuous source of inspiration.
Outside the studio, she remains curious. Whether hiking, working on art projects, experimenting in the kitchen, or diving into a new book, she is always learning, creating, and searching for the next idea around the corner.
